Do you spend less then the typical person your age?

Me too. Probably due to the fact I have no social life too. I have 3 pairs of shoes that are still in good/moderately good condition, and don't often buy new clothes. Recently I have been debating with myself whether or not to buy Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2. I really want them but these things are expensive for me cos I don't have much money. :( I always look at the prices whenever I go into a games store. I have come to the conclusion that I'll just buy the first one for now in case I can't find it ever again *shudder* There are no words to describe how much I absolutely love its predecessors: Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine, my favourite games ever. Now I wonder what on earth was taking me so long to come to my senses.

I don't tend to get new clothes all that often either, unless I need something in particular. Plus with the space I've got I'm at the point if I get anything new I would probably have to toss stuff out to even it out 8O That is the Nintendo curse, doesn't matter if the game has been out for a month or a decade, if its part of a big series its gonna cost you! If you're budget is tight keep an eye on eBay and the like to save a bit of money. When you do get them I'm sure you will enjoy, both games are great fun :) Sunshine seemed to be a mixed bag for people, I thought it was fun! I still have that and a bunch of other classics for the Gamecube.

Well considering I don't have a proper job, I certainly spend less than the average person my age. I mean, I help my mum with our home daycare but all of the money goes towards bills.

I can count myself amongst the thrifty. I have a new car (that's 100% paid for including insurance) and an apartment yet still have a savings account on top of my large pension contributions. I simply don't see the need to spend much money outside of eating out and watching hockey. Since this is the summer I spend very little on either activity. Most in my situation are practically paycheck to paycheck.
