I have one entire eyebrow. And it grows back so quickly. I go to get them waxed, and they're back in a week and a half. I don't tweeze them because it's very painful for me. The waxing, I'm always trembling when they do it. Especially when they're getting ready to rip the paper off.

do you tremble because of the pain? i imagine facial waxing hurts.

i tried waxing my bikini line once and the SOUND made me almost vomit!! ! it sounds like velcrooooooooo. i could even finish it... i had to try to peel it off bit by bit. i was thinking of going into a salon and wearing my ipod so i wouldn't hear it.

Tweezing doesn't kill me but I don't really don't need a lot of plucking. There are some women that get laser hair removal. Too expensive imo but I've heard other girls say you don't have to shave or pluck for up to a year. Other women wax which imo is a waste of money. They also say before you pluck, to clean your face with cold water first. Makes plucking quicker and....less painful.

Your bikini line?! That must really hurt! It hurts bad enough on skin that's more exposed, imagine skin as delicate as that. I tremble because of the pain. I always go to the same salon, and the same person does it. I like it because she always warns me when she's about to pull. Not that that does too much in relieving the pain, but at least I'm better prepared for it. It's just horrible, I think. Although I have to admit, I do like the result afterward. I've always thought it kind of makes the eyebrows sharper and more noticeable.

I couldn't imagine waxing or plucking my bikini line. I shave just to keep clean, but even then it kinda hurts because the hairs there sorta group up in one place (like two or three hairs growing in the same place). Plus ingrown bikini hairs are horrible, I would die if I had more than I already have.

This is a bit off topic, but, why do women pluck there eyebrows? I have had it explained to me several times (with several different reasons given), and i still don't get it...

women naturally have thinner eyebrows than men. women also naturally have thinner eyebrowns when they are younger. so i think it is a way of looking younger and more feminine.

i just realised i typed "eyebrowns" that makes me giggle.

i like thick dark and and heavy eyebrows, even a unibrow (unibrown? lol). i have trouble with eye contact and so noticeable eyebrows draw my attention.

p.s. to people who were asking - yes, waxing the bikini line hurt. but the procedure was more disgusting than painful because of the sound.

I like guys with dark and heavy eyebrows. I tell my brother never to wax. It's just on me that I don't like one eyebrow.
