I was in 9th grade, in home room at the time and the tv was turned on and we were watching it. The girl from across the table from me started crying, I guess her dad was attending a meeting in tower 2 at the time, but he escaped. It's one of those surreal moments that sticks with you. After that we were all rushed to the gym and stayed there for a hour or two, then attended classes again although every class the tvs were on.. so we payed attention to that all day.

-- Another interesting note, in June 2001 end of the year 8th grade trip, we went to the WTC in NY and statue of liberty. It's hard comprehending such massive buildings not there anymore.

I was 4, and visiting an uncle in Kentucky. Incredibly, I actually remember watching it on TV at my uncles house, and on the way home, I vaguely remember seeing the smoke floating over the Hudson a few days later while driving over the George Washington bridge.

Dear USMCnBNSFdude, I have been reading up on this topic; there seem to be people who have devoted amazing time and resources to these ideas. There almost seems to be a subculture, if that is the right term, similar to the JFK conspiracy groups. Thank you for the initial link. And, Cornflake, you are correct, there some EXTREMELY imaginative plots out there! Sylkat 8O

 I think you're being very generous there - I'd call them "barking mad".
