Well, I’ll just say that as aspies we would have experienced more social difficulties back then than we typically do now.
I still admire the effort that was put into every day social interaction and business back then for what it was, though.
Yeah, I think that if I had been born in any time period other than this one, I would have been left to rot in an insane asylum and probably given a lobotomy due to my crippling mental illnesses (my anxiety and OCD were really severe and I need to take my medication to keep it under control).

I had a brief obsession with England last year. It was because two of my favorite movies (Sweeney Todd and Alice in Wonderland) took place there. The fact that I really liked Doctor Who certainly helped.
But my obsession with England always felt kind of forced, especially when I tried convincing everyone (including myself) that I loved it more than Japan.
