These for the time being......

My brother is interested in guns, and for awhile his favorite was the AR-15. He stopped liking it after too many kids at school started talking about them. He's one of those people who has to have unique interests...

The TAR-21 Tavor is also a pretty good assault rifle.

That's my permanent obsession, the photography thing is more recent and not as strong.

Thinking about the Victorian Era gave me warm, fuzzy feelings too - primarily due to the fact that two of my major obsessions last year, the movies Sweeney Todd and Alice in Wonderland (2010), took place during that time period. Got to hand it to Colleen Atwood to create gorgeous costumes!

I had a sub-obsession with the Victorian era when I had a temporary obsession with the Civil War a few years ago. Anyhow, I found this website that had excerpts from a Victorian era book on etiquette.
Well, I’ll just say that as aspies we would have experienced more social difficulties back then than we typically do now.
I still admire the effort that was put into every day social interaction and business back then for what it was, though.

My girlfriend Megz who I met here on WP is my main obsession but I don't feel like linking all the post I made here about her so here's a link about another obsession http://www.fox.com/familyguy/

Yeah, I think that if I had been born in any time period other than this one, I would have been left to rot in an insane asylum and probably given a lobotomy due to my crippling mental illnesses (my anxiety and OCD were really severe and I need to take my medication to keep it under control).

I had a brief obsession with England last year. It was because two of my favorite movies (Sweeney Todd and Alice in Wonderland) took place there. The fact that I really liked Doctor Who certainly helped.

But my obsession with England always felt kind of forced, especially when I tried convincing everyone (including myself) that I loved it more than Japan.

The other flag in that photo is very important to the overall message.

You should come and visit us sometime. There is much more to England and the UK than just London.

It's a former (and now unofficial) flag of Northern Ireland.
