Would the Manchester-area based people in this thread be more amenable to meeting in an evening sometime for a few pints in a pub somewhere? I could come down, stop in a hotel for the night. The main problem with that might be finding somewhere relatively central and not too expensive to where we're meeting up though, and I know some people - gasp! - don't drink for whatever reason.
