I saw fear and confusion.

I saw a look of pain. Then came the hilarious revelation that it was migraine pills!

Seriously, I see a facial emotional expression not merely an inanimate object. I would argue that it does not present a neutral expression.

I have depression but am feeling quite chipper tonight. I'm NT, if that means anything.

I don't see any emotion in it (just a pan with some eyes and a mouth punched into it).

Negative. It looks fearful or shocked...

It just looks rather innocent to me. Like a baby staring up at it's mama. As I had to choose, I went with "sad".

I saw neutral but voted sad as there wasn't a neutral option. As far as following your mood is concerned, that is about right for me most of the time.

I couldn't decide if the mouth was open or not. I saw no expression with the eyes to confirm anything so I went with neutral.

I only see it as neutral.
No smile, no frown.

I saw a grin. And I'm going through one of the shittiest times of my life at the moment.

I initially saw happiness but it very quickly changed to stress

I think I got a fleeting glimpse of un-happy. I guess the thought is i relfect that projection?

I've always thought of happiness with smile and a non smile = non-happy.
