Sorry mod if your shutting it down, I am interested because of the "EPOC neuroheadset" for games.

I just keep a open mind since you can't measure it & technicaly you don't get any classes in training. So anyone who claims they can do it all the time, must not be true.

But I keep a open mind. Because of the "EPOC neuroheadset".

Fnord, this is getting old. if you don't agree with it, fine. but there is no excuse to taunt and belittle people just because you don't agree with their views. please be respectful.

Please specify where I have taunted or belittled anyone. I made reference to the Hugo Award because telepathic beings are a common feature of science-fiction stories, and receiving such an award would be a good thing.

As for the EPOC neuroheadset - this is not telepathy. It is measuring electromagnetic brainwave patterns and translating them into game controller signals. Telepathy is the alleged mind-to-mind communication of thoughts, experiences, memories, ideas, and ordimary "chatter".

Okay then, so how should I refer to something that has never been proven to exist?

if you cannot find a way to respond to members respectfully on matters like this, stay out of these threads.

TechnoDog was also straddling the line with his first post, but we haven't had repeat problems with him doing this in most faith-based threads.

Obviously, it is wrong to criticize a person for his or her beliefs. Is it now also wrong to criticize beliefs, as well? Please link to the rule that says this.

This thread is not in a faith-based forum - it is not PP&R - nor it in The Haven, where nothing can be criticized. It is currently in Random Discussion, where it has long been held that disagreements and criticism were allowed, as long as they were not directed at the person. Has this changed?

you make a point of coming into threads like this and essentially belittling their beliefs. this has to stop. it is offensive, and offensive posts ARE against the rules. now that i am sure you understand, if you have any further questions feel free to send a PM to me or any other moderator. thank you.
