The only TV I still seem to watch are the public stations (namely, TVOntario and PBS). They have interesting documentaries sometimes, particularly the historical stuff.

I used to like History Television and Discovery and a few others. But they've been taking over by yowling rednecks, with shows about pawnshops and truckers and "Swamp People" dominating their primetime slots, and William Shatner and other fools peddling ridiculous garbage about conspiracies and aliens and ghosts the rest of the time.

I don''t watch T.V. either, although I have one. I feel like chucking it outside some days, because it's just collecting up dust. I find that T.V. nowadays is mostly rubbish reality shows which are all planned out and scripted, bland sitcoms, and shows about fake ghosts. I can understand how old people say that the boobtube takes away from the soul now. There are a few shows I like, mostly having to do with animals, and a comedy here and there, but I can get most of those shows and more free and legally on the internet. The internet gives you much more of a choice than T.V.'s do.

95% of my TV viewing is sports. Granted I could watch a lot of games online (illegally) but those streams don't always work.

Before the analog shutoff a few years ago, I would try to get long range over the air tv signals in, not really for the programming (except for football season) but the thrill of getting those stations in.

I don't really watch TV anymore either. I haven't in 3 years (since I moved into an apartment) though the gradual loss of TV interest started when I was in trade school (about 2000, maybe.)
I do watch one show, though that is done on the computer. It is Clone Wars, but new episodes won't be back on again until the fall. There is another I hope to watch on the computer too, which will be the new 2012 TMNT on Nick. Hopefully they do the airing of the episodes online like Star Wars does the TCW, so I don't have to miss anything.

I possess a TV. That's as much as can be said. I seem to have met a lot of people who do not own TV sets and I really respect that as I always think it suggests an independent mind.

I have not owned a television for five years. I also got rid of my Internet connection. Thus, I need to visit a place with WiFi to use the internet.

This gives me the idea to give mine away. I suppose I don't really need it as I can watch movies on the computer instead.
