Why is there invariably an odd number of socks left in the dryer? Is there a one-legged thief on the loose? And why is it Bigfoot and not the more accurate Bigfeet?

Dear Sluice, I think there must be numerous one-legged sock thieves, as these outrageous thefts appear to be an international crime wave!

Do baby Bigfeet have little feet?

What happened to Iwona Wieczorek (the most famous case of mysterious disappearance in Poland).
Did the mother of baby Magda kill her deliberately or was it she at all who killed her (baby Magda was like your Caley Anthony).

Dear Irulan, supposedly, Magda's mother told police she had accidentally dropped her baby, hitting her head.
When she realized the baby was not breathing, she said that she panicked and hid the body.
The strange thing is that she first lied and gave a false location of the body.
The case of Iwona is very difficult for me to get information in English on the Internet.
She seems to have left a club or disco, walking, at 3 in the morning, spoken to someone at 3:30, then never seen or heard from, no trace, ever again....
Is that all that is known?
I am fascinated by missing persons; we have a television show in America, only on missing persons, it is amazing how many are never found!

But now the police suspects she strangled her (as suggested by the presence of the blood clots in her lungs) and before her death, the baby was abused. What's more, her mother, being a small woman, couldn't deal with such a big piece of rock, under which the body was found - someone else - stronger - must have put the body under it. She gave the false location because it wasn't most likely herself, who hid the body so she didn't even know it. I know all of those, I read the net and I'm familiar withg those two cases.

Yes there is a God (I am pretty sure) and he does not steal your socks. What is probably happening is that you overload your machine and they are flowing over the top of the drum with the water. If this is the case, expect the pump impeller to get plugged some time in the future. Either that or they have gotten dropped coming out of the machine and are underneath it.

(One of my aspie moments involved a party and a washing machine. The host had casually mentioned it not working right and so I volunteered to fix it rather than have to socialize with the other guests. The sock thing is what had happened to it. In the end, everyone was happy. They got a working washing machine, and I had fun fixing it! As an added bonus, I got to avoid awkward small talk with drunk people.)

Dear Irulan, Thank you for the further information, there is definitely something more than she has said.

Dear Moog, Referring to your post, may I share this with you?

The Rubaiyat Of Omar Khayyam...XXIX:

Into this Universe, and Why not knowing
Nor Whence, like Water willy-nilly flowing;
And out of it, As Wind along the Waste,
I know not Whither, willy-nilly blowing.

The first time I read The Rubaiyat,in my teens, I was so stunned...I don't think that I had ever experience anything quite like that!
