I like my glasses. I had to get new ones recently, and now I wear purple ones. I've worn glasses since I was 8.

I used to have glasses aged 5-7, I hated them and if I ever needed them again I'd get contacts or laser surgery. I do not suit glasses at all!

I hate them. I can feel them every moment that I'm wearing them and I have a hard time ignoring them. They also get dirty and I can never get them completely clean, and I can't ignore smudges. I should get lasik or contacts.

my glasses are like a part of my face. I can not imagine my face without them. I love my glasses.

I still have excellent vision at nearly 39 and so I have never worn them. however, I think girls in glasses look kinda hot!

I have worn glasses as far back as I can remember. In my teens I once managed to fall flat on my face onto a concrete driveway. The frame of my glasses customized my face. The good news is since then I have a little ledge at just the right location on my nose for all the bridges of subsequent glasses to ride upon.

I have a ledge like that too. Not big enough that the bridge can rest on, but big enough to be noticeable when I take my glasses off. Which is rare. I found out the hard way why Drs make u wait 20 min after getting an injection before u can leave. My 20 min were almost up when I fainted and fell out of my chair.

The only time I've ever fainted was at the doctor's office after I got a shot about 20 years ago. They didn't have that rule back then. I was standing at the window paying my bill, the cashier said, "That'll be $80, please," and the next thing I knew, I was back lying on the exam table.

I don't need to wear glasses except for reading glasses, but sometimes I wish I did because I like other people's cool glasses; sometimes I'm glad I don't because of the comfort issues and the cost. I'd just find a cool pair of readers and wear them around except I can't see far away with them on.

8O Thank goodness you were still at the office. If you had been driving home.....
Incidents like yours are probably why the rule was made.

Worn glasses since the third grade. I wish they made frames like swatch watches, where you could just pop the lens in whatever frame suits your mood.

My eyesight has remained constant over the past 15 some years; it may be bad, but my glasses have made me who I am now. :D
