I guess 1926 got the shaft.

In 1927, the first "talkie," The Jazz Singer was released.

Charles Lindbergh made his famous solo Transatlantic flight, accidentally losing his baby in the ocean in the process.

And en una isla's furnace was built.

1931 Ange Dickinson was born

1932 Sydney Harbour Bridge was opened (interesting story about it - see Wikipedia)

so Werbert's gradpapy is 1 year older than Ange Dickinson?
If he was 25 when Werbert's daddy was born (1955 - same as my big brother), and he was 25 when Werbert was born, that makes Werbert 26 y.o. +/- 14 years

Oops. I am an idiot. Or not. I'm not sure actually what year my grandfather was born. I know it was either '30 or '31. And his daughter, my mom, was born in 1958, and she was indeed 25 when I was born.

In 1931, the Japanese invaded Manchuria. The invasion began when the Emperor Hirohito said he wanted Chinese, and someone misinterpeted him.

1934 - my mother was born. I am only 1 year younger than Werbert's mom and I have a neice the same age as Werbert. I could fix him up on a hot date. lol
