Hear is my two bits what the f is it any of the governments business if I don't have coverage. Ive payed all my medical bills and had some pretty extensive work done recently I owe nothing to any one I paid Its not the uninsured driving up the cost. Its the fact that Medicare pays less than it actually cost for some services this cost is passed on to other insurers/self payers and drives the cost higher. Ever wonder why it cost 7 bucks or more for an aspirin or its so hard to get an itemized list from a hospital? Would you go to a garage and agree to work with out a idea what your going to pay no why do you do it at the hospital? This year I'll be just above the cut off for the Theft of my hard earn wages and given to some one who don't want to work not the ones who can who cant.

P.S. pain pills and crushed hands are keeping me from being really clear.

What they will learn (I hope) is that the age of the wealthy white male slave-owner mentality is rapidly drawing to a close. They can't keep pandering to wealthy white right-wing conservatives and expect the rest of the country to like them.
Interesting - someone on the news here this evening made pretty much the same observation: that Romney and Co. represent the angry, evangelical white men of America - but that's no longer America. The difference being, Obama knows this full well.

Obviously, you weren't watching Fox News.

;)

Truth be told, I've seen this coming since Bush/Cheney stole the election back in 2000 (and maybe even 2004). It seems to have been the turning point in how voters view their leaders, and may have contributed to the election of a president who is about as different from Bush as a man can get!

The tighter the GOP adheres to its traditional values, the more likely the GOP will continue to lose credibility with an informed and educated public.

These days, the average American is f****d no matter who gets in. Sorry to say, but a person really has to be a BS artist to make it to the presidency.

I'm mostly frustrated because I'm tired of seeing two-term presidents since I was old enough to know who the president was. Re-electing any politician these days is like whacking your thumb with a hammer, then doing it again hoping it makes it better.

There is usually a reason why one-term presidents don't get re-elected, and it usually isn't a pleasant one.

A bit late, but shouldn't this thread be in the PPR forum?

They have been heading on this path since at least the 1990s or so........ I have seen this coming for a while.
