My son was with his dad for Christmas eve...so we had some serious party action last night....

Pigged out on shrimp, drank a hard lemonaid...and started to fall asleep while watching HGTV.

On Christmas Eve, I played Trivial Pursuit with my brother, and watched my DVD Box Set of Father Ted.

I watched Series 2 part 1, and I got up to the 3rd episode before falling asleep.

Christmas Eve-the Missus and I spent the day recovering from the pre-Christmas we had for the grandsons on Saturday. The younger one wasn't feeling well and whined about most everything. We went to the Christmas Church service, and then went to see Rocky. The Missus cried and I felt old. Drank whiskey and coke most of the day, and popped some Soma now and then...

Have just come back from four days away at Forster-Tuncurry, NSW - a four hour or so drive from home. We stayed at a kids resort in a very nice cabin, and it only rained on Christmas Day, which kinda ruined the Christmas lunch we were going to have on the beach, but anyway!! On Christmas Eve itself we swam at the Tuncurry rockpool, and got a real surprise to see a heap of dolphins swimming so close to us - was awesome!! I'm so thankful to my boss for letting me have Christmas Eve through to Boxing Day off so that we could go away - it's the first time ever that I did not spend Christmas at home.

For Christmas I got a very nice yellow blouse, a box of Guylian chocolates (yum yum) and the new John Mayer CD (yum yum again lol). Corin (my son) scored an eye toy for his PS2 and a stack of games which will keep him busy for the school holidays (hopefully!). We had BBQ's, oysters and prawns, potato salad and coleslaw, bread rolls and lots of cake and chocolate. Gained a kilo or two most probably but don't care! I don't drink alcohol at home or when with my son so I didn't get wasted either :) But there's always NYE!! !

This Christmas, I was kidnapped and taken to see a group of barbarians. They claimed to be "related" to me, and "interested" in what I've been doing the past year, but I know they were all CIA agents who wanted information. Yes, even my 6-year-old "cousin."

So you're working with the French, too? Or is it the French Canadians?

Instead of my usual selection of Christmas movies, I chose this year to watch "Lethal Weapon 1", which takes place during the Christmas Season, and "Die Hard," where Bruce Willis plays a cop who came to his wife's office Christmas party and has to save everyone from terrorists. My Mom was shocked. Hey, they were still Christmas movies, to me!

I spent Christmas Eve and most of Christmas day in hospital.

I didn't mind though. It meant I wasn't on my own.
