. And in that case, I wouldn't have to worry about people finding out. Imagine the things I could see! The progress of man from his current state to something greater, or worse, or however things turn out. I could see things others of my generation could never even dream of. And since I don't really know what love is, I won't miss it when it's gone.

Well, you can pretend to die every 70 years and take on someone elses name. With immortality, there are no emotional attachments you progress while people you know come and go.Immortality with a genius IQ to compliment it is a way to go.

I think that despite your ability to basically live forever and the possibility of having a very high IQ, it could get kind of lonely after awhile. I don't mean lonely in a sense that there are no people around, but lonely in a sense that there's no one your age, no one to share childhood stories, no one that could support you because you know that you'll outlive them anyway, and no one that would remember times in your life when you were truly young. I'd be telling everyone else's childhood stories, watching my friends die, watching my children, my parents, and everyone I've ever met die. I think that it could take part of the spark out of someone's life because you know that you won't die and that you won't ever get old. I don't know if you meant that the person would be immortal, but I know that being young your entire life would get pretty boring and you'd get kind of bitter towards life and love after being human for that long. Anyways, long message 'short', I'd definitely take love over eternal youth.
