I don't think there's anyone I could think of.

No one wants to meet Buddha?

I think I would want to see Jesus, not to talk to, but to just be there, awhile.....I would be utterly intimidated!

Could I tell Amelia Earhart that she was about to make a BIG mistake?

Also, I want that poem 'Xanadu' finished, so that's Samuel Taylor Coleridge.

No way can I pick just one person, so I'll make a list ...

1. Jesus Christ
2. Francisco Coronado, the Spanish Conquistador
3. my grammy Rosalinda, who died when I was 10 and who was the coolest, fiercest, sweetest, strongest, gentlest, and most beautiful woman who ever lived.
4. Thomas Jefferson
5. Edgar Allan Poe
6. the anonymous but incredibly brave Siberian who first ventured across the Bering Land Bridge into North America
7. Harry Truman
8. Jackie Kennedy
9. William Shakespeare
10. John Lennon
11. Crazy Horse
12. Beethoven

Ok, an even dozen. That should do it.

I have to agree with a lot of the choices so far. To spend a day at Jesus' feet and listening to him teach .....

Here's a coupla blokes I'd like to share a pint with, Charles Fort and H.P. Lovecraft. (H.P. may have been a teetotaler, so perhaps some tea.)

Also W.C. Fields, who would definitely drink me under the table, as would Winston Churchill. As for famous women, maybe Garbo, she could have been Aspie, you know. Hedy Lamarr was fascinating, and lovely.

And oh yeah ! ! Bert Lahr ! !! And of course, Stanley Kubrick who would be a challenge to converse with.

Then you'd have to stop Wordsworth from knocking on the door, or, whoever it was...Tragic wasn't it?

I chose according to who would most help me during my life...since I believe in life after life I thought there will be plenty of time for me to talk to formerly famous persons or hopefully, to Jesus. It would do me the world of good to see my grandmother again, although, she does appear in my dreams. Much rarer now than used to be, however.

I see my Dad in my dreams all the time. It's actually really nice to see him.

Tis for me also with my grandma. It doesn't happen when I'm wishing it to but is always a nice surprise hello. I think sometimes it could be my imagination but sometimes it really feels like it is her. I hug her in the dream and it feels real. etc

My theory is they only appear in dreams to those who wouldn't be upset by it, which explains why they don't always appear to their children...

Well my Dad was a really quiet man when he was alive and he never says anything in my dreams, but he always looks really well just like he did when he was younger.

He was my stepdad really but I've never met a nice man in my life.
