Obviously, most places in the Third World are absolutely awful.

Frankfurt, Germany was pretty bad the last time I was there. I was glad to get back to California after that vacation was over.

Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco is awful, too. I hated San Francisco when I was there. It was cold and damp, it reeked of fish and other odors, and the Chinese food gave me diarrhea.
