This looks like the green version of the brown/orange caterpillar that you posted in the first page. Even that bluish dots are the same. Do you know what it's called? I'd love to have one.

This tiny Spicebush Swallowtail caterpillar aims to scare off predators by pretending to be a dangerous snake with huge eyes.

The only trouble is, it looks far too pretty to be a threat to any critter as it waits to hatch into an elegant butterfly in Maine, USA.

And thanks, Moomingirl, for the info. Swallowtails are my favorite butterflies/caterpillars. It's a pity that this particular swallowtail species (spicebush swallowtail) is only found in the eastern US. I'll probably never get to see them.

These are apparently crochets on a caterpillar's prolegs - taken from Wiki article on caterpillars
