I don't think I have ever heard that, either----BUT, I'm thinking there's SOMETHING behind it----especially, "serial adulterers". Take this business with Bill Cosby, for instance. Now, I know he's being accused of RAPE (and THAT, IMO, is SICK), but I've been hearing for DECADES that he was sleeping-around (adulterer). The same with Tiger Woods----and, I'm thinking Monica Lewinsky wasn't the ONLY one, President Clinton was foolin'-around with.

It may just be ego, with these men, and then one could posit that that's "emotion", maybe, as opposed to mental illness----but, I definitely think there's some "food for thought", there.

Yes, could be...

An addiction of sorts, maybe...

But, there's still the question of whether on the "smaller scale", these behaviors are caused by mental illness. Then, everyone suffers! EVERYONE.

i do not think there is any such thing as evil. there are some animal who are "bad apples" and who are likely to be eliminated by their kind simply because they are "bad apples" and not because of a desire to purge evil.

like a lion that goes insane and attacks other lions at random will soon be dispatched by the rest of the pride simply because they present a hindrance to the stability of the pride.

i do not think people are better than animals, but i also think people are no more accountable for their actions than animals because whatever makes a person choose to do what they do is surely out of their ultimate control.

i do think dangerous people should be dispatched in whatever way rids society of them, but only because they have a neural network that is wired incorrectly in order to fit with the flow of society.

Oh, dear----I don't think I agree, with that!! What about "premeditated crimes"? IMO, "premeditated" means they've had time to think about it----and, thusly, have had the time to control it (keeping from going-ahead with the action).
