I started a thread and expressed some unpopular non-PC opinions about a relationship I am in, and was met with so many vitriolic responses that the thread got locked. then i started another thread called "PC bulls**t on WrongPlanet," and the SAME PEOPLE from the other thread responded to tell me what a jerk I was. f**k this.

This is what he's angry about.

So he's just upset at the people who followed him and not just everyone who likes to comment?

I do that, or when I'm utterly curious and have to ask a question. If I don't think I can add to a conversation positively/productively though, I try not to interrupt it. Doesn't always work...

21 people have responded so that blows that theory out of the water. The most posts were from kamiyu, so I guess she has 'dominated' this thread.

Sorry, Norny.

Well, I agree with the OP (as I said earlier) whether he/she meant it's a good, bad or neutral thing. I think there are a small number of posters whose posts I keep seeing everywhere. They must be online versions of talkative people.

Sometimes, maybe. In my case, I do pretty well at not being too talkative in "real life." Here, I feel it's hard to be too talkative, as long as it's not spamming or trolling, and I suppose the mods would have stepped in if I'd done that, as they've done in the case of the OP. And there's always the "scroll down" button. Wish I could have one of those in "real life." I know some people I'd love to scroll down. Kind of you to have the forbearance to compliment the OP though. He must be very lonely, having pissed all those people off here and got so rebuked for it.

IRL there are good talkative people and bad talkative people. I love having good talkative people around because I don't need to say much, it's fun and they are usually good listeners, too. I hate having bad talkative people around because they spew gossip, garbage and venom and they are often bad listeners.

So maybe there can be good online talkative people and bad ones, too.

Oh yes, obviously. mariausman is a very bad talkative person online, always repeating the same unwanted, annoying bilge, worse than the OP. He'll soon be out on his ear for it (mariausman that is, I don't know what will happen to the OP). There are some examples on this very thread of (IMHO) very good talkative people. Most of them in fact.

Sorry, Norny.

If I must be dominated, I think I'd prefer it to be by a rabbit that writes. No offense, Norny, I'm sure you'd have been a great leader too.

Maurisman is obviously a bot, or a spammer. Another criminal intruder that got around Alex's staff like those Koreans awhile back.

Anyway..

The OP has not even participated in his own thread since starting it three pages ago. So he cant complain about folks dominating other threads when he doesn't even respond to his own thread. So the topic is null and void.

I think so, pretty much. His views weren't popular with some folks on The Haven or some such place.

Nice one, Raleigh
