Ne'er been to Rochdale. The neighbouring towns of Bowton and Burreh aren't bad though.

I lived in Bolton town centre for a year. I didn't think Bolton was that great to be honest although the surrounding countryside is nice.

Bury is a great town - I used to live in North Manchester so I would sometimes get on the tram upto Bury of a Saturday.

Too right :) . Specially t'black puddin' stall - I guess it's still there, as it's years since I've been to the market :(

Never really been to Rochdale or Bolton - my family were from up the Irwell valley, Ramsbottom & Holcombe sort of way, and south of Bury, so it was rare anyone went East - West.

Edinburgh.

Originally Clackmannanshire for first 8 years of my life, then the Glenrothes area in Fife between about 8-17, then Edinburgh for uni and have been in that area since and this is where I feel settled.

Have lived at one or two other places as well.

I should see a bit more of Britain, really. I do try to get out when I can but I've only seen the North West and parts of Yorkshire... ;)

I rarely get out of Manchester. There's nothing to do in Urmston. All we have is the Trafford Centre and sewage works.

I was at the Trafford Centre last week and can confirm that there's nothing there. It's like about five town centres all rolled into one. It's absolutely enormous, and has nothing really going for it apart from the sheer size of the complex. Nothing you can't get at any town centre up and down the country.

Yeh there is nothing there really 8)
There used to be a bit where John Lewis' is that had a load of other smaller shops in it, there were some good ones there that sold some weird stuff, but once they got rid of that a couple of years ago, there's nothing there. My mum goes there a lot but I only go there when I go to the opticians now
