I find Recieved Pronunciation accents very grating. Not to mention they're often put on to make people seem of a higher class than they really are.

I hated the Valley Girl slang when it was popular in the 1980s. Every second word was "like." To this day, I hate when people use "like this, like that" in every sentence.
