I have a pet dragon that I sleep with. It protects me from monsters.

It's a zombie. It's pretty scarey.

Hey Quartermass, I've decided I need to look intelligent like you with a bit of latin:

extensor carpi radialus longus

( the only latin I know is from anatomy)

I made its brain.

I program computers. A friend of mine does the hardware. His son (aged 5 at the time, I think) built the T. Rex using Lego Technic. My friend put it the motors and built the hardware to control it. I programmed the computer to make it do things. The T. Rex could only do two things, I think - move it's head side to side and open/close its jaws. Still, it all looked fairly impressive, at the time - some time before Lego Mindstorm came out in 1998, so I guess it's over ten years ago! I'd not really thought about how old the picture was.

PS. Lego Technic wasn't all that good at staying together. We programmed another model to do "The Towers of Hanoi". Due to it being a little "mad", it would often get halfway through doing the puzzle and then tear itself apart. People always found this much more amusing than when it finished the puzzle. I can't image why.

That's a muscle in the forearm, isn't it?

As for the avatar, I thought it was from Hellsing, and Ubby3 is definitely too young to have watched Hellsing.....
