I agree. That's why I wouldn't want it. It'd make my life easier, but I'd be a different person.

I seriously don't think that you're autistic! I think you're just and attention seeker who knows jack s**t about autism! If you really did know anything about it you wouldn't go around calling it a horrible mental illness, and you'd accept the fact that there are good aspects of autism as well as the bad ones!

RIIIIIIIIIIGGGHHHHTTTT....... having a certain talent is not something to appreciate, being unique is not something to appreciate! Tell me, have you read ANYTHING about autism, or are you just going by whar all those s**thead NTs have told you?

I'd like to be "cured" of my inability to speak aloud and I'd like a small amount of "social ability" so I could interact in person; since they're "symptoms" of autism, yeah.... You know, I'd like to have a "voice" other than here and this metaverse, there's a women I'd like to speak to "out there"..., but due to the "classical autism" I cannot.

What's the point of an IQ of twelve zillion when you cannot utilize it within and to the society you were born into, the laws that you follow and the people you like.

I think that IQ tests are way overrated, myself. Those IQ topic threads make me feel very uncomfortable, because I know that I'll never measure up to the majority of the Members, here with my humble IQ of 113.

113 is nothing to be ashamed of. I agree though, I really don't think IQ tests are an accurate way of measuring intelligence. Online tests aren't always reliable either, mine have varied quite a lot from 130s to 150s, and I think it's perfectly possible for someone of the same intelligence to get much lower or slightly higher than someone else.

People say I've got a super duper wonder weapon of an IQ because I'm autistic..., uh, no: it'd still be there if I wasn't so socially ret*d, I might not have used it as much because I wouldn’t have applied it to social situations and other irrational/illogical things; but it would still be there. My parents are smart and they’re “normal”.

I can obsess over things.... Too bad I cannot do said things due to my social retardation.

I voted the second one. With NTs and AS there are going to be few negative traits that need to be less common but not the entire brain/wiring.
