Does anybody here have a hard time sounding enthusiastic?

Interestingly, I talked about this with a friend of mine, (apparently people think he can be a bit monotone too) and he said he didn't find me to be lacking enthusiasm at all, and I didn't find him to be monotone (likewise, he didn't think I was monotone either, despite other people sometimes referring to us as such).

Makes me wonder...are monotone people less likely to realise when others are being monotonous? Hmm...what do you think?

There was an autistic kid in my History class last year and he was completely monotone, but I didn't even notice he was monotone until other people complained about his voice/facial expressions. I'm more "selectively monotone," though. :D

Lostdragon & Stampy,

I have a lot of cat related clothes, too! My favorite is a vest with pictures of kitties on it. It is very special to me because the cats look like cats I have had in my life. There is a Calico (C.C.), a Siamese (Samantha and Prince), and a Tabby with white feet (Puffy).

Oh God, yes. I could be excited beyond belief for something, but I was never able to show it outward too well.

Normally I don't, but when I'm thirsty I speak in a complete monotone. 8O I could be super enthusiastic about something, but I have trouble feeling any emotion other than "I'm thirsty."

Cool! I'm getting some shirts with Stampy Cat on them soon. I hope they're the "right fabric" lol! :D
