But some bars have female bouncers for misbehaving females. That was Gretchen Wilson's job before she hit it big as a country singer.
There are lots of women who know they can do anything including verbal and physical assault to a man in a club
When people hear the scuffle she knows everyone will jump on the man. The bouncer will and probably 2 or 3 other men who don't know the guy or girl. If you even argue back never mind hitting all those other men will deal with you. Sometimes called "white knighting" by angry anti-women kinds of men. Some women use this to abuse men. The same kind of women who will get drunk and mean in a club. Not all women but some. They are not all little flowers who need protecting.
My friend was a bouncer for a while. He told me that as a guy he just always grabbed the guy first because it's easier for him even if he could see the guy was not going anything. He knew if he breathed on a women wrong well he's not a cop and it's not wise to touch women unless you are also a women. Too many legal liabilities otherwise. And if the guy is not in the bar then the argument is also not there and that's the idea.
Alright I am going to challenge your claim that women are allowed to physically assault men at clubs, or harrass them with verbal abuse. I mean sure incidents happen I am sure, but you make it sound like its allowed, which I really doubt. Can you post any evidence that this is allowed at clubs?
Also I would think also really loud drunken arguments could also get men and women thrown out. Why would the club management want some nasty couple screaming at each other there to ruin everyone's time? Any club type place I have been to I get the impression that if you start being a belligerent and unpleasant then you risk getting kicked out regardless of what you have between your legs.
I heard about an incident in my local club where a guy was pushed by a woman because he accidentally bumped into her and the guy was asked to leave the nightclub by the owner
And how did he respond to the push? seems a little unlikely that the owner would have made him leave for accidently bumping someone and them pushing him....so her pushing him must not have been the end of it, I suspect he somehow made a bigger issue of it.
Also that didn't prove that women are allowed to assault men at clubs, pushing someone who bumped you isn't physical assault.

When he bumped into her he stared at her for a few seconds because he didn't know how to react and out of the blue she pushed him quite hard. My friend confessed he was bit fustrated in that club because it was so crowded that night.
My friend is quite short or about my height to be exact which is 5ft7. I think I read up somewhere that men who are on the shorter side get on women's nerves.
Oh yeah to the point my friend was too shocked by her pushing him too react.

5'7 is short? that is almost 6 feet tall...I doubt his height had anything to do with it, more likely the woman didn't know it was an accident and when he didn't say something like 'oh sorry' she may have felt threatened. Still odd he got kicked out if her pushing him was the end of it and he didn't retaliate.
Does the owner already not like him, or have there been past times he's acted belligerent enough to get kicked out or something like that?

Personally I think night clubs are generally cesspools. They are bastions of drugs and alcohol and I think the benefit to risk ratio for men is lower than I would care for if I were a straight male. You have a high chance of not hooking up with anyone and a high chance of being murdered or assaulted by another man.
If you like dancing, take a dance class or join a dance company. They are predominantly female and typically need men.
If you like drinking, stick to local bars with a set group of regulars.
If you want to find a place single women congregate, try a cooking class. You are a guy and you like to cook, that makes you appealing from the start.

What do bouncers do that you consider to be 'unfair'?
I too would like to know in which way the bouncers are unfair...
Sometimes I really do suspect jamesy is a troll, with all the threads of these vauge questions while providing no examples of what he's talking about and just making random claims about things. I mean I have a hard time believing someone with such a complete lack of any thought process could use an internet forum.
That's the impression that I get. I've always had that impression.

There's a good reason for this: men can almost always inflict much more damage upon a woman than vice versa.
If a woman has a weapon, though, I believe the man has the right to defend himself.
Women don't lift heavy weights at the gym anyhwere near as much as men and go on massive diets that causes them to be underweight. I think that's the only reason why they are weaker?
I mean if a 6ft1 216 pound man pushed a 140 pound 5ft8 man would the bouncers come rushing to the smaller mans defence? I don't think so.
Is that so? I can do reps with hand weights that weigh 30 lbs. I also look like John Banner which I'm proud to do so.

the united kingdom has one of the highest rates for violent crime in europe(if it isn’t still the highest), and it also has a heavy drinking culture. it’s not hard to conceive why bouncers and friends would be vigilant and protective of others when someone looks of potential trouble.

Oh yes and to the point the lady reported him to a bouncer.
There it is...
Sounds like your friend made her severely uncomfortable, I understand he didn't mean to...but yeah bumping a woman at a club and just staring at her could certainly come off quite menacing even if its just because you don't know what to do. It sounds like she pushed him because he freaked her out, not because she wanted to be mean to a random guy.
It sucks but next time your friend bumps into someone he should probably apologize, so they know it was an accident.

As far as I know most murders do not happen at clubs. I am a little bit concerned some of you here are confusing clubs in movies with real life. I mean something can start at a club...but the likelyhood of the club staff/bouncers just standing by while a bunch of assualts/murder take place isn't a real life thing.
Also though there are certainly risks for straight men at clubs...I'd say it is a bit more risky to be a woman you can get date raped, something put into your drink so the perpetrator can come back and 'help' you once the drug kicks in. I mean a guy could have it happen to him to, but women large enough to carry off an average male are not very common.
I even once got drugged I left my drink 'just one time' to go to the bathroom and sure enough someone slipped something into it...luckily I was at a bar next to my sisters work which was a hair cut salon and planning to meet her immediately after a couple beers so she could cut my hair and then she was going to drive me to my friends house. So the worst that happened was she was initially kind of mad because she though maybe I had just gone and gotten all f**d up by my own choosing but then I told her what happened the next day when I had sobered up. I don't even want to think about what could have happened if I didn't have a plan to meet my sister. Also I can say that's the last time I ever let my drink out of my sight.
It's kind of ignorant to claim that an average straight male is more at risk than an average straight woman when going out alone to clubs/bars. Also its not always about hooking up...a lot of people go to those settings just to socialize or have some drinks not necessarily with an end goal of having to hook up. And couples go, I've gone to a Goth club with my boyfriend...and yeah if you're being a belligerent or menacing they won't let you in and I think that is a good thing.

assault doesn't have to happen inside the club.

Think you're making them out to be far worse than they are. Been going to nightclubs all my life and probably only ever had one incident.

Most murders don't happen at clubs, but there are a number of murders outside of night clubs every year and the victim and murderer are usually both men and the murder is usually over a trivial thing such as a perceived slight.

I agree that women are significantly more likely to be sexually assaulted, not just as a club but everywhere in general. However men are significantly more likely to be murdered or physically assaulted at or outside of a club. Women have safety in numbers but for men it's often the opposite.
