So its really been kind of irritating me, but could be I'm letting it get to me to much. But yeah this person just continuously takes up two spaces at the apartments I live at, one of which was where my boyfriend had been parking for quite a while before they started taking up those two spots. Their vehicle is a largish pick-up, but someone else has the same kind of vehicle and is able to only occupy one spot...so I am sure this person can to if they'd put the smallest amount of effort into parking.

But yeah she just parks it smack dab in the middle of two parking spots taking up half of each spot. Doesn't help that I suspect its the same person who left a pile of their trash out in the laundry room that I had to notify maintenance about to come and get it because it was gross. So IDK should I try and leave an anonymous note asking something like 'please can you stop taking up two parking spaces, its inconsiderate'...or just forget about it? which would be hard because its parked like that every single day.

Take picture of double parked vehicle, with license plate clearly showing, and email it to the property managers. The local cops are likely to say they can do nothing because it's private property. Property managers should have a towing policy for this.

Put a bunch of pea pods on his car and leave a letter asking him to be a Sweet Pea and move his car.

Oh, it sounds like she doesn't wanna havta back-out.

I'd definitely leave a note, and/or tell management.

I still don't think that is a good reason to park like that, if everyone took up two spots to keep their car getting scratched there would never be enough parking spaces.

That’s the whole point of inconsiderate behavior: to do things that would be unsustainable if everyone tried to do them. Since they can’t be done by everybody, the need arises to establish who has the privilege of doing those actions at the expense of others and who has no choice but to put up with the crap without expecting anything in return. If anyone dares to object to the first inconsiderate action, they’ll have to fight it out. The winner gets to consolidate their rôle as the oppressor, proving who’s boss.
