I don't regard salmon as a boring food, something of a treat actually. I'm very partial to baked beans a couple of times a week, no way they'd ever be regarded as exotic.

A special kind of veggie chips sold at Trader Joe's. Not boring, actually.

My favourite sandwich filling is tuna mayonnaise. Literally just tuna and mayonnaise mixed together, no vegetables or lemon juice or seasoning added.

Right now I’m having Sabra Sun-Dried Tomato Hummus on crackers... not as flavorful as I had hoped, but good; plain is too bland.

The last thing I ate was pretty much the opposite of boring. It was pad Thai with some kimchi thrown in. Delicious, and spicy.

hummus with triscuit crackers or naan bread. The naan bread is preferable but its more expensive than the crackers(I am curious if it would be possible just to make that sort of bread, but I have never made bread before). IDK if everyone thinks it's boring but seems like a rather basic/boring snack to me.

Also rice and fish, is good.

Kale :D

One time while I was still living with my mom she baked some kale in the oven with spices on it, and it was delicious. Though initially I thought maybe she had gone crazy because I never heard of baking greens in that way before. But its one of the few things she's made that i enjoyed quite a bit.

Tacos. I started out with beef tacos, but I mostly do shrimp now. I have the routine down and sometimes I invite people over and cook tacos for them. They seem to be impressed, but they don't know I eat tacos for 10 meals a week sometimes.

What makes me laugh is that supermarkets sell tins of baked beans at around £0.30, and 'exotic' spicy versions at £1.00+. You can just add hot chilli powder or paprika to the standard product at virtually no extra cost.

:D :chef:
