I don't think of cameras as appliances, I see them as being electronics, like TV's and computers.

I might think of my Sony Walkman and my SNES console as "old appliances" if I saw them that way. :)

I like the sound of tape cassette recordings. Do you use your walkman?

I have to look up "SNES console"

^ hehe, I expected a few posts from you when I made this thread. Processors, effects, pedals? Bring anything else back from the hospital?

stretching the definition of "appliances" here- i brought back a pen made to look like a hypodermic needle with colored fluid inside of it. a fleshly lump of artificial "skin," from a dermatological drug rep. a cassette tape [remember those from way back when?] with "the sounds of mental illness" on it, courtesy of a pmed drug rep. a pencil cautery unit. some durable plastic basins. i have a device that purports to transmit audio information via the peripheral nervous system bypassing the ears, called a "neurophone."

SNES, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Super NES, Super Nintendo. So many names for one console! I remember when the 16-bit game console came out some people called the previous NES or Nintendo "Regular Nintendo".

I have music tapes for my Walkman but I haven't listened to them in a while. Sometimes the Walkman won't work or it pulls the tape ribbon out. :(

My SNES cr@pped out 8/10 years ago so I bought a knockoff duel system that plays Super Nintendo & Original Nintendo games. I never had an Original Nintendo but I bought some games on eBay. The duel system started acting screwey a year ago so I bought another just like it.

I had a Walkman that I used a lot while I was in high-skewl but I quit using it cuz I got an MP3 player. The cassette part on the Walkman quit working & then the radio so I junked it.

Smart Alec! :D

I have a Walkman am/fm cassette where the cassette section tucks into the body of the radio. You slide it out to pop in the tape. I have a Sony MiniDisc too. And then along came MP3s.

It's not what I had in mind but if it causes the firing of any missile or has moving parts, then yes. Please tell.

Alas it fulfills none of those criteria: it's an indo-persian Katar from the 1700's.

Looks pretty much like this:
