I had braces in high school. I have a wire tie on the back of my two top front teeth, but I couldn't stand wearing my retainer, so my teeth shifted and now no one would ever guess that I've had braces.

There's a cartoon called Braceface that's about a girl with braces. I think it's a Disney show. I never watched it but I stumbled across some stuff about it.

Anybody remember headgear? I only wore it while asleep (not in public) - despite that the headgear would often come-off during sleep.

Anybody remember those tiny rubber-bands that were yet another "fun" part of orthodontics?

I had braces between the ages of 14 and 17. My teeth were very crooked, I generally have bad teeth :/
