The county that I live in, and all the counties a reasonable public transportation distance away , shelter in place

But it says you can go for a walk

You can go to grocery store

How do they enforce it?

Homeless, military, nursing home, group home

Is 911 going to require a doctor appointment card before letting you proceed?

Going for a walk includes a lot of things

A walk or any exercise is a good thing because it builds up the immune system. UVS rays from the sun is good also.

People are still over buying toilet paper and other hand sanitizes and baby wipes and there is still a shortage on baby diapers.

People here in Oregon are not taking this virus seriously because they are young and don't think it will kill them and they will recover from it if they get sick and they are still going out and having fun like nothing, going to the beach for one, going out to parks and nature parks. The funny thing is people are showing their frustration online about people being too close to each other and not staying home so I told everyone in that thread maybe all those people have the same idea as you and are maybe thinking the exact same thing as you, and the OP agreed with me.
Stores are still open and so are our malls. Schools are closed and Dave and Busters and museums and the zoo and all bars and restaurants but people are still going out and shop and still are out on the road. There are less cars on the road though because many people have been laid off. We no longer have rush hour. We still have take out and drive thrus open. Now people on bicycles and scooters and skateboards are coming up to the drive thru to order. This normally would not be acceptable but now they are allowing it because they closed all the dining rooms.

I am not really scared of this virus because I can't worry about something I have no control over and what might happen or if this is the beginning of Life After People. But some people have gotten real crazy and I am not sure if it has been a coincidence seeing more crazies on the commute train. One lady thought she was being harassed because some man was looking at her and then he walked towards her so she called for help and got kicked off the train instead. Then last night one man refused to get off and kept saying to security "You told me to put my feet down and I did" and said they were harassing him and he wasn't getting off the train. They eventually gave up and he stayed on.

Places here are definitely sanitizing everything but Gamestop is not so watch out when you shop there.

Not everyone is going to take this seriously unless the gov orders all stores to close and shut down and orders car dealerships to close too, etc. But that won't stop people from going outside and walk and food stores and pharmacies will still be open and gas stations because people are still working and car repair places may stay open because people gotta fix their cars.

People are going Sooooooo CRAZY over here with buying TONS of toilet paper, buying Kleenex, soap, food & stealing groceries. It’s very scary with this Corona Virus.

Are people acting NUTS in your city?

Yes! Though I'm aware it's not a laughing matter...

Not in my part of the city. Here people keep calm and keep social distance.

People here apparently didn't get the distancing part right. :| Especially at groceries.

Main reason people here are nuts isn't really entirely because of the virus and getting infected.
But because of the possibility of getting caught and apparently force into a more isolated form of quarantine.

... And I misread your signature as 'Keep calm and choose your batteries carefully'.

I ordered dinner last night, the delivery guy got the distance part wrong too, he supposed to leave my food at the door on the porch, he called me on the phone, I thought he was at my door, I opened my door, I guess he was at the gate, cuz he wasn’t there, I was going close my door, he showed up, handed me the bag, he should have put it on the porch, stupid man. I washed my hands right away, I washed them very good, I kept washing my hands, I wash them before, during & after I touch the food, I put my food on my plate & put the shake in my cup. I had a double cheeseburger, fries & shake.

This morning,Sunday, I and 3 other women, and 2 men were who attended church.
The city or state had told them only 10-15 people.
Next Sunday the service will be streamed...the church doors will be closed.
I never thought that that would ever happen in my lifetime.

I hope they limit the lockdown to the original 15 day period. Otherwise I might have to take over the world. And that is such a chore.
