Yes, you caught me out, Ms. Linton, and rightly so.  This thread was inspired by YOUR post, and carried on the sarcastic tone therefrom.

And yes, Mr. Flake, the sarcasm is directed toward the act of claiming "Since a member of Group X did Y to me, then I condemn all members of Group X because they are all capable of doing Y."

Some Aspies here do hold a grudge against all NTs though because they've encountered a few nasty NTs in their lives who bullied them.

I've been mistreated by NTs in my life too but I don't tar them all with the same brush, because as an adult I know that not all NTs are the same. I just hate bullies, doesn't matter which brain wiring they have. I would never say "I hate NTs" (unless I was being hyperbolic in a rant or something and not literally meaning the whole entire NT population).

Movies featuring bullies still trigger my "Run Away!" reflex almost fifty years after graduating high school, but NTs can still be counted among my friends.
