"Wheel in the Sky" by Journey, it was playing on the radio while I was on my way to my best friend's funeral who commited suicide, I just broke down on the side of the road and to this day I cannot listen to that song, it makes me want to cry now

and "Far Behind" by Candlebox, it reminds me of my ex

Anybody have any songs that always bring tears?

Ronan Keating's "If Tomorrow Never Comes" because it was my nan's favourite song before she died, and the song that was played at her funeral

I only know 2, that made me sad when I listened to them when I was little, but still envoke a similar emotion to this day, tho I can tolerate it more.

1) 1 is the lonliest number

2) If I saw you in heaven.

Not sure if these are the names to the songs, but its a phrase.

Kite by U2

It is such a beautiful song when my relationship ended earlier in the year I listened to this song a lot. I'm over it now and the song still moves me. It also reminds me of my Dad when he died.

"No Ordinary Morning" by Chicane.

I recommend ignoring the video and just listening to the music.

I can just about sing this song to myself in my head and keep a straight face, so long as I don't try and talk too soon afterwards. Singing it out loud or hearing it reduces me into a pile of tears on the floor.

Radiohead – How to disappear completely

I'm usually more moved by music than lyrics. Usually the saddest music to me is stuff that’s really dark and desolate, like spacey synth music and ambient stuff.

Raw hide brings a solitary tear to my eye every few decades when i hear it. I first was enchanted by it when i was 4 years old.

Also "Marianne" from the "holiday 80" by the original Human League.

'Desperado' and 'The Sad Cafe' by the Eagles

The Eagles are the only good things hailing from America in that genre, however I cant say they have been depressing enough for me to feel sad while listening to them.
Usually I only feel sad during certain songs when Im depressed myself, otherwise it will be a more upbeat sounding song, depending on your emotions.

The song "I Grieve" by Peter Gabriel .
Got me through the murder of my 19 year old daughter, it had been my favorite song on the "Up" album but when she was killed I was unable to listen to it for a couple years, Then I listened to it non-stop for months.
Because I love physics it really helped me, cause I also believe nothing ever REALLY dies. The second to the last line of the song is my signature here.
Oh yeah I also have been moved to tears by "Bridge overTroubled Water" and "I am a Rock" by Simon and Garfunkle, I have left instructions that Meatloafs "Heaven Can Wait" is to be played at my "Wanted Party" I don't want a funeral, I'm having a huge Party, cause that's the way I would have "Wanted" it. :D

Come As You Are

Come as you are, as you were
As I want you to be
As a friend, as a friend
As an old enemy
Take your time, hurry up
The choice is yours, don't be late
Take a rest as a friend
As an old enemy-a
Memory, memory
Memory

Come doused in mud, soaked in bleach
As I want you to be
As a trend, as a friend
As an old enemy-a
Memory, memory
Memory

And I swear that I don't have a gun
No I don't have a gun [2X]

David Bowie - Heroes Lyrics

I-I wish you could swim
Like the dolphins-like dolphins can swim
Though nothing-nothing will keep us together
We can beat them-for ever and ever
Oh we can be heroes-just for one day
I-I will be king
And you-you will be queen
Though nothing will drive them away
We can be heroes-just for one day
We can beat them-just for one day
I-I can remember
Standing-by the wall
And the guns-shot above our heads
And we kissed-as though nothing could fall
And the shame-was on the other side
Oh we can beat them-forever and ever
Then we could be heroes-just for one day
We can be heroes (3X)
Just for one day
We can be heroes
We're nothing, and nothing will help us
Maybe we're lying, then you better not stay
But we could be safer, just for one day
Oh, oh, oh, ohhh-oh, oh, oh, ohhh, just for one day
Oh, just for one day

Another song that makes me sad is Another Day in Paradise by Phil Collins
I remember one christmas my dad and I (with my brother) we brought gift baskets and such-and I saw the homeless up close-I was only like 8, it changed me...you know
