One of the famous female singers that has gone green is advocating wiping with 1 sheet of toilet paper. I think it's Celine Dion but I'm not 100% sure.

I roll it into balls. I use a lot in this process, but so does my brother, and my parents blame him for it instead of me :P

My bad. It was Sheryl Crow, not Celine Dion.

This has to be one of the most interesting threads I have read entirely......
Don't you find these sorts of topics interesting...I mean, we all do this but it is never socially acceptable to talk about...go figure?!

I have a joke that I ask people and it is very surprising the responses I get...."What hand do you wipe your bottom with?"
At this, most people think about it and usually answer with either left or right.
I then say, "I prefer to use toilet paper!"

I am a folder....a total of 4 sheets all folded on the perforated line in alternate directions.
I prefer soft toilet paper.
I hate it when your finger goes through the toilet paper.
I wash my hands once thoroughly after every event on the loo & wash my hands twice if any substance comes in contact with my skin.

I fold it into swans and then i wipe.

No actually i roll it into balls, but I don't use a ton of toilet paper. At my old house the toilets clogged easily so i've gotten used to using small amounts.

I'll use however much I need to get the job done. might be a little, might be alot. I don't ration the stuff. The only issue i have with TP is the way it hangs. i like it over the roll. Some people let it hang under the roll, which I hate because I end up touching the wall trying to grab the end of the sheet--- YUCK!! !! !
And now one of my cats has learned how to undo the paper roll. It's funny, but i know if she eats it she'll have paper mache turds...

That's what my husband uses, but I can't because I'm too senstive to the stuff they're soaked with. I'd use a bidet if I had one though.

I totally have to get a bidet. It would make life so much easier! BTW, I can't believe I am having this discussion (lol).

It was also very hard with sharp edges.

Ewwwwwww!! ! I guess G-strings weren't so popular huh? :P
I have a bidet, it's so, so much better, you get that "TING!" superclean feeling. And it's fun to use!

The relaxed and un-inhibited atmosphere at WP is what makes this place SO GREAT!

We don't seem to have the unnecessary hangups that the 'other' people do! :D

I roll it into huge balls and use way too much toilet paper. My ex used to nag at me all the time about using all his TP and tried to get me to use little bits at a time. Sorry, no can do. Doesn't work for me.

I love discussions like this. I mean, if there is one thing you can guarantee, it is that almost 100% of the human population share the trait of needing to use the toilet and toilet paper :P But I should perhaps have had a more catchy title like 'Toilet paper...roller or folder?' :D

Anyone here had the misfortune of accidentally walking out of the bathroom with a bit of toilet paper still attached??

Folder here. I streamline the process to limit the amount I use. Environment first. My wife uses more to wipe for pee than I use to wipe a massive diarrhea. She wads/rolls. She uses wet ones for the other stuff and leaves them in the bin for all to see and smell, but calls me the disgusting one, because I leave my work stuff lying around the house and “in her way”. I’m embarrassed to have friends over as they will see chocolate streaked wet ones if the enter our bathroom. Of course, my wife doesn’t let me have anyone over, so it is a moot point.

This is really an awesome discussion and people should definitely post more topics like this. I don’t know why it's considered so taboo.
Anyway, I think almost everyone has walked out of the restroom w/ toilet paper attached to some part of their person...at least once in their life. I know I walked out w/ a long string of it attached to my shoe a couple of times :P
