I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Farscape..........my favorite is the Pilot, the Furry Warrior dude, and the blue skinned priestess. not to mention what'sherface.......the military commando.

StarGate: Asgard, Gould, Ancients, Nox(who wouldn't love the Nox?) Martin (the amneisac weird case, who knew he was an alien) Ronin, The Wraith, The Asurans.

Star Wars: Ewoks, Wookies.

Star Trek: Tribbles, Klingons, Borg, Species somethingorother(the only race that can stand up to the borg, from fluidic space) The Xindi (all of the Xindi, very facinating idea) the Suliban

Doctor Who: Cybermen, Daleks, and probably all the aliens

Harry Turtledove's World War: In the Balance. The Lizards. I swear this was what gave birth to the idea for V
