YAY! Pleased to hear that others are putting their tree up too! I've been walking around asking everyone in my house how much they love the tree!! My James just finally said "I do love the tree, but not quite as much as you I am sure", then followed up with, "I am sure you have cultivated a love all of your own" :D

I am all for growing our own culture...anyone else in?

The good thing about christmas is you can feel a sort of... warm christmas spirit around... It's what gives christmas it's 'sparkle'... I have an idea... Announcing the tallest christmas tree competition

The leader at the moment is makelifehappen with a 7,5 ft!
"Tree is up! WOO HOO!! !"

One of my very first memories is my attempt to pick up a long candy used for decoration of our christmas tree. The tree, of course, fell off and majority of glass balls broke  I was almost 3 in that time :D

I'm really excited about Christmas this year; I get to introduce my husband-to-be to my family! He's coming to stay with me for his Christmas leave and I can't wait to see him again!

I have a problem with people who celebrate Christmas too early. My family don't start preparing for Christmas until December, after my birthday.
