I like parrots the most because they're are the smartest that I'm met, friendliest too. Love all birds though, even Vultures; their job should be featured on Dirty Jobs (it would be funny to see that announcer guy have to eat carrion!)

Not a scary as some of the "gods" the Babylonians worshiped either, if that were a factor of choice.
Difference between fear of mutant things and the "fear" or reverence for God: respectability.

The bird is called a Galah. I think it looks like a red chested Cockatoo or Cockatiel.
