Shady has a point, Ash. You CAN have a life while living with AS. You just have to pull yourself together and take things one step at a time.

What does having a life mean?

Berserker, you do have a life. Don't let others define what your existence ought to be. Life is what you make of it!

I don't have a life outside the internet.

As a freelance writer, I spend most of my days shut-in.. guess how many true friends I have? Zero! I'm content with that, but I'm working towards being more social at my own pace and doing my best to face new challenges in school and employment as well.

As for spending most of your time on the net, there's really nothing wrong with that unless you decide it's not what you want. As long as you have some way of supporting yourself or being supported, I honestly believe it's okay if that's what brings you happiness.

If you want friends enough, and you want to change your life, I believe these things will happen naturally when you're ready.

well, I can't speak for Berserker or Redmage or Ashleigh (How would you prefer to be called? :P) but it didn't seem wrong, just a support post with good intentions, I believe that is what it counts.
