considering I make my living fixing them...no...;)

If there were no PCs, I'd still be in my last job (in the 80s) of Security Guard...;)

Virtual life topic

Certain global technologies are indispensable; What would we be without television, radio, blueray, sliced bread. Life would be a lot simpler, slower, and there would of course be no WP.

I am trying to find that hug video. No I do not ned a hug. It is a long story.

no, I couldn't live without my computers, especially since the desktop now has a new widescreen monitor (WP looks cool in widescreen), I'd go mad within hours

I suppose so... but man would everything be complicated. I use my computer for school stuff as much as I use it to just relax... I would be doomed in school without a computer.

Strange how that worked out isn't it?

No, never. I need my machines to study. I'm addicted to them.

No, I couldn't. Without my computer, I would be driven to insanity due to boredom. Sad thing is, I don't think I'm kidding about that either... 8O

I could live, but I would feel for a long time as if I'd lost part of my mind.

I think my computer is going to be taken from me any time soon.

Yes, but school would be a bit more difficult. Library research is tougher to narrow than internet research, and a typewriter is a bit more unforgiving than a word processor.

Other than school and the occasional surf, I don't use computers too often. I hate computers, but they're one of the necessary evils of the present era.

I suppose I could live without my computer, but the first 72 hours after removal would be ugly. I went crazy the week my laptop went into the shop. It goes wherever I go, as well as my digital recorder and two cameras. I used to have one of those old-timey typewriters that came in a case & all you needed to run it was a ribbon (which they probably don't make anymore). If a solar flare came or an electromagnetic pulse took out all the electronics, I could survive if I had a typewriter.

(I hadn't used a typewriter in years, but then I used one at work the other day and when I got a typo, I spent about a minute looking for the 'delete' key).

I could, but how else would I spend my days when I have nothing else going on. I can only clean so much before people start to suspect I may have developed OCD due to sheer boredom.

If you would have asked me 2 years ago, I would have said yes, but now I would scramble to purchase another one, if mine died.
