What's eating you? topic

Lynx meat. I was eating it and thought it was chicken, until someone told me. I made myself vomit. :eew:

Eggplant parmigiana. Nasty, evil stuff....

Had rattlesnake once, too. Not bad, actually.

Mac-n-cheese made with chocolate milk.

Hazelnuts occasionally have a horrible taste.

I'm sure there's a bunch of other things that I just don't remember.

When I was 13, I made chip dip with canned tuna, mayo and sour cream, it wasn't bad tasting, I left half a bowl of it under my bed for a week so it was rotten when I found it and started eating it, picking around the green parts, it still tasted pretty damn good, finished the whole bowl, didn't get sick either, I use to have a cast iron stomach.

Olives. I ate one slice of an olive drenched in a salad dressing I loved, along with a mouthful of salad, I gagged and almost puked as soon as I bit into it.

Say it is so. I love olives.

They are an aquired taste though. Black olives are a bit more milder. Green olives really had a bit of punch to food when mixed in with other stuff.

North Carolina barbecue (my sainted grandmother referred to it as 'dog meat'...;)

Take a pig
toss it in a large blender
throw in a few gallons of vinegar
some pepper

heat and serve.

Honestly, don't get me started on 'pig picken's...;)

Yeah I do not like that kind either and I am from the area. As a matter of fact that is pretty much what barbecue places serve around here. There hasn't been one barbecue house in the area that has managed to stay open either. Wonder why...

Pediazole, this medicine I had to take for bronchial asthma as a kid, was pretty gross and looked and tasted like barf, as did my grandmother's rice pudding. :)

I like it in lasagna, if it's the dry stuff. I don't like it on its own.

In Middle School, I got extra credit for eating a maggot.

Catch? It was baked and covered in cheddar cheese. Tasted like a Dorito. In fact i got the rest of the bag after only 1 other person ate one.

yuck.. Now I know that wouldn't taste very good because of the chocolate. Chocolate is the wrong ingrediant, period. I love Mac and cheese done right though. :)
