Hey what is a gringo? I've heard that before.

Gringo comes from griego which means Greek and in formerly Catholic Spain I think it would be a reference to the New Testament use of Greek to mean, "outsider" or "goyim".

Anyway, in science I use the metric system but in construction I use the Imperial system.

AFAIR gringo comes from a song they used in the battlefield "green grows" sounds like gringos.

Type "Kalister" into Google Image Search, and the first thing you get?

http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q ... a=N&tab=wi

(Vote Kalister in 2008)

Also, I didn't know Kalister was a Scottish last name:
