whoops. i do agree with your point there though. these dolls are dumbed down versions of barbie. Barbie had jobs like doctor or vet. Bratz just puts forward the message that a girl has to dress sexy in order to get anywhere. totally not cool.

i heard a good line on a comedy show once
"don't buy bratz cos they are whores!"
this was part of a sketch that was mocking sesame street because of their aggressive marketing to children.

those dolls are creepy, especially the babies.

I hate those dolls. They have unnaturally large heads, practically no nose, oversized eyes and lips, and the dimensions of a porn star. It makes my blood run cold to see little girls dressed like "prosti-tots". What is the rush to grow up here? They remind me of those little girls in beauty pageants that are spraytanned and made up to looked like tiny showgirls. creepy.

You know what, there are men who carry purses. I just found out they're not called purses but murses!

I remember the first versions of the commercials, it just kept chanting 'passion for fashsion' it even said 'don't theorize, accessorize'.

What a message to send to girls.

OK, I just glimpsed through Bratz Babies something my niece doesn't have and I can't believe what I saw. I think they look more disturbing than the Bratz dolls. Do babies wear these kinds of clothes with lot's of makeup and hair?

With the subject of mens' purses, I think a man having one makes him look sophisticated and professional.

With the female Bratz dolls, I hate them. They have that impudent look to them that screams "I will severely backtalk you," or "I will beat you up and my wicked and coldhearted girlfriends would join me in your beating." They remind me of those that used to pick on me, and so that is one of the major reasons why I hate them so.
Also they exude an air of rebellion, one that I know would appeal to young kids and teenagers, but is grossly impractical in real life.
Plus they are too sexual.

With the Bratz babies, I pity them actually, because babies wouldn't know better and it would be the parents that are dressing them up. The babies in real life would be completely innocent.

That is sadly true. Looks like a 5-yr-old hooker from Thailand. I think a pedophile must have designed these awful things. I dislike the Bratz dolls because they encourage the absolute worst in female behavior.

No, it is not just you. Trust me....

Not only do I find Bratz dolls really disturbing, I also find any girl who dresses like that equally repulsive. And mind you I'm an 18 year old guy.

they don't even look human....

Barbie introduced an ideal that was physicly impossible to obtain...Bratz take it to the next level..I wonder how many little girls lament the fact that they don't have enourmously swollen heads in proprtion to their bodies and eyes as big as saucers...
