My dentist lets me wear it during the procedure, as it relaxes me. I wonder if other people do the same?
my dentist lets me wear it from the time i get into the chair to the time i am leaving...

i dont know, but id take as many as my body can handle since i love pressure...
and id use the ones from my hospital, they are like such a soft lead its like having a really heavy liquid on top of you, it conforms to your body its so comfortable...
the ones from my hospital i would easily take all 100 and pile them on top of me (they have 20 xray rooms each with 5 aprons)

Speaking of heavy liquid...wouldn't it be cool if there were mercury aprons? Properly made, of course...
Mercury's much heavier than lead.

oooh... liquid mercury aprons would be absolutely cool... especially if mercury holds heat... i love how it gets warm under the lead ones...

yeah, it would be awesome... but id prefer the giant blood pressure cuff, the cuff would squeeze into all of your bodys curves and hug you all over... im sure a mercury apron would do the same... i know!! ! blood pressure cuff and then 5 mercury aprons!

To replicate the lead apron effect:
Get a 25lbs cat and a piece of sheet steel about the size of your torso
apply sheet steel to chest
apply cat to sheet steel
not only will it feel kinda like a lead apron, but it's also warm and funny looking
