I didn't know that, I now look at all the armadillos that I saw when I lived in Florida in a new light. They were mostly road kill but I spotted a few live ones too, I even once saw a momma armadillo with a baby armadillo once.

OMG, you can see their little precious paws like you'd see in a pet dog...poor babies.
I saw a documentary of what they do to cats over there before they eat them. Wasn't so much that they ate them but what they did to them while they were alive!!
