I love fresh ginger. And the smell of my cat, she's so clean.

I smelt perennial Phlox tonight, gorgeous. We have Jasmine now in flower, i also love the smell of clove type Dianthus. Nice to see latin names - they mean more.

What abt the Umbelliferae, I love cow parsley. Cows in the byre.

Honeysuckle for sure, I'm keen on moths. Thyme in bright sunshine, old Moss roses. Honesty - Hesperis matronalis is always welcome. I've one bulbous plant home grown from AGS seed that I cannot identify - scent exquisite.

The woodwork room at school - scotch glue readyfor use, freshly sawn wood, the oil used for chisel sharpening, 'banana' (?) oil on a shellac finish, the woodwork master Mr Y - his pipe. These are powerful memories forty years on.

It feels kinda creepy, but I favor my own smell. I have this blanket that has my smell very strongly on it, and I always compulsively touch and smell it. (I really like the way it feels as well).

I also really enjoy the smell of hibiscus, and certain musks. If I smell the musk too often, however, I get sick of it.

And skunk and urine, if I'm not to close?! 8O I'd say those are pretty odd...

A smell that I oddly cannot usually stand is that of meat products, and the smells released in the process of cooking meat products. They often make me nauseated.

I happen to like the smell of fresh art-gum erasers...

Brand spanking new hardware for computers - I could live off the stuff
Brand spanking new books - dunno what the smell is...
Freshly washed clothes after a trip to the launderette - so tempted to use the wash bag of clothes as my pillow.
Burning car tyre rubber...
Freshly baked bread :)

The smell of fresh black walnuts I don't know why but I love it I feel so happy after I have smelled them for a while.

I also like the smell of the following incense

Patchouli
French Vanilla
Dragons Blood

Pumpkin spice soap

But my favorite is the fresh sweet on a guy before bo starts to set in because BO= me getting sick.

mandarins!

Tamarillo flowers have a great candy/fruit scent. It's fast growing and easy to grow, Tamarillo is like a fruitier tomato, but not sugary enough to be called a fruit. I'm only in a cool temperate climate and I've grown it here, but it does like warmth. Like a tomato likes I guess.

My favorite smells would have to be brand new pair of shoes, dollar bills, fresh new basketballs, rubber, french fries (especially from Burger King) and freshly baked pizza with the herbs and spices on it.

I love the smell that comes out of clothing dryer machines while fabric softener is being used. I miss that wanderful scent. I'm currently in an apartment where I can't get that smell these days. Unused softener seems boring to me, and misses certain smells. Even the used softener itself doesn't have that certain smell I love. Nope, it has to be the air that comes out. My parents always thought it was wierd that I went outside sometimes and stuck my face in the dryer pipe. They didn't seem conserned about my little sniff addiction. :D

I love my own smell too. That's the reason I have a comfort blanket. Smell and touch.

So do I! I love car smells in general, but only the good ones--- gas, exhaust, rubber. I like to smell the tires at the tire store. They smell so good. I wish they had tire-scented air freshners.
