Fatty! (and me)

My cat's were fat when I got them, and I like them that way. They are very competitive about which one of them get's petting, they actually shove each other out of the way to get to your hand!

Awww, they're adorable. One of mine fooled me into thinking he was just a skinny kitten in the shelter. Turns out he got big and fat before I found out his true age which is 3. The other was just a feral cat who got loose and automatically took a liking to my place.

The first one's Bill, the one that got very big and the other is Bob.

Do cats get along with dogs?
I'm curious to know if any of your cats can socialize with my dog,
a 25-pound-pain-in-the-ass Beagle named Jack.
{He does not look like a Beagle, but more resembling a Cocker Spaniel.}

Anyway, I love cats!
When the time is appropriate, I will get a cat of my own.
The Oregon Humane Society is expanding their cat section to accomodate more cats.
It is very cool they are doing so.

I think it depends on the cat and the dog. For dogs, they're breed can sometimes tell you a lot whether they do or don't. Both my dogs one a lab mix and one an Akita got along great with my cats.

As for cats. They're so different from eachother. I had one cat that ruled the household over the dog. But my other 3 cats got along great with him.

The Akita I had for not too long got along great with my grey boys. She was very protective over them like a mother dog with pups.

i'm ok with cats, but my sister is a huge cat lover. the has been caught trespassing a neighbors property just to she could see and feed thair seemingly neglected cats.

and she is allergic.

my dog does not like cats, whenever we come back from chilling with Pickles she'll be sniffing us intensely.

I meow-love cats!

I have a cat of my own, who is very affectionate and has a great sense of humor. She would also do anything for food!

I've never really liked animals but a few years ago I took in an orphaned kitten. She's gotten under my skin. I am afraid of dogs.

My girlfriend has one & I like her & other cats OK but I prefer dogs. My mom always hated cats partly due to asthma & being allergic as a kid & neighbors cats coming in our yard to scratch up her car, eat birds & use her gardens as their personal littler box. I find cats inconsistent & confusing & like how dogs are predictable & loyal & I would think more Aspies would prefer dogs for those reasons & don't get why so many rather cats.

I've loved the kitties for as long as I can remember, and have two of my own right now. My dad is also very fond of cats so maybe I inherited it from him. He can't have a cat though, because my mom is allergic. She doesn't really dislike cats because of this, however, and last Christmas when my brother and his family stayed over at their house they brought their cat, who stayed in the basement rec room where he didn't bother my mom's allergies. I find I relate much better to cats than dogs because of their independent nature, their desire to please themselves instead of humans, and their seemingly being aloof loners, although my younger cat is very friendly and LOVES attention. My older cat has her moments but she's still pretty much reserved. I also draw a lot of my own cartoons of cats where I nearly always avert that "Cats are mean" TV Trope. :cat:
