From what I heard they dont eat humans, and dont like them, but if they find to you interesting they may bite you out of curiosity.............. usually the bite is quite serious

It proberly wouldnt even bother eating a human. It would be like a sardine and would it really be able to be in that depth of water where the surfers are with out been stranded like a whale..?

Gah..I'd hate to imagine what that thing would be like beached on land. Unlike the whale, it'd probably sway side to side aggressively.

When I was a kid, even in an indoor swimming pool, I was very scared of sharks. Always checking the bottom of the pool. Still sometimes 'hammerhead' sharks are in my dreams too. Mmmm, I watch too many nature programmes. They're scary and fascinating at the same time, I think.

Here a not too scary picture of the hammerhead.

btw, sorry for the somewhat abrupt break in.... Please continue.

You wouldnt want to try and save sharks then Msconstrue, like people try and save whales.
Maybe some people would start crying Save the Sharks and most of them would have to go to hospital with serious injuries, if not die.

Well the stingray is related to the shark, reminds me of how apparently there was a lot of mutilated stingrays after his death from people, not what he would have wanted, I gues that is a fear, your legacey not being what you want.

Had no idea they were related to sharks. As much as I wouldn't want to be attacked by one, I find them quite fascinating.

I was just shocked that it was a stingray, not a big shark or crocodile.

yes they would eat dolphins and walruses or whales if they lived today. if you had a knife, then if you were sucked into that mouth, chances are you would not be grazed by it's teeth since it's mouth is so cavernous.
if you could hold on to it's epiglottis or something on you way to it's gut, you maybe could carve your way out it's side. as long as you did not get swept into the acid environment of it's stomach. that is an immature imagination.
no human could hold on in the face of the muscular power of their peristalsis of swallowing you.

i know that a human is nothing but a tid bit to them. really, it would just swipe you up like a dog snaps at a fly if it was that close to you.
white pointers like seals, and wetsuited divers remind them of seals, but humans are very skinny compared to seals.
they never the less take a bite to see, and the blood spill usually sends them crazy.
sometimes they unexpectedly just swim away, but i think that is because they notice other danger approaching then (like surf ski motors) etc, and that the blood cloud did not enter their nostrils before they fled.

white pointers do not spend energy hunting humans because it is not worth it to them, but if there is a person flailing on a surfboard, then they may as well take the morsel on their way to the seals they are really looking for.

if you are a silly person on your way to a restaurant for lunch, and you smell a street demo of say quail legs being cooked up and given to the public in a promotion, then if the spruiker offers me a sample i will partake.

even though i am on my way to a full meal, i will still take an easy bite on the way.

the thing that is kind of sad is that even as big as they were, humans could easily kill them if they lived now (with artillery shells from a coastguard cruiser even).

so the lack of intelligence in their minds, renders their super physical prowess futile compared to the species that the fragile little surfer comes from.

i see innocence in the sharks eyes.
i also see complete insensitivity and i am fearful of that look.
but they can not come onto land to hurt me, but my race can go to the water in big ships, safe from them if they lived now.

Its so sad the bad rep sharks have gotten :(

Imagine you`re a shark, swimming along,
you look up and see this dark shadow above
you moving around. You`re hungry and
think "its dinnertime!", swim up and grab
yourself a nice fat seal or something. You
swim a little more, then you see another
shadow above you and think "...yeah, i
can make room for one more". So you
swim up and grab it but somethings not
quite right so you chew a little to taste what
it is and maybe spit it out. Seals, humans,
they can be hard to tell apart when seen
from down below through a sharks eyes.

Its not your fault that the thing you chewed
on was some random human out swimming,
that human is on your domain and he really
should be more careful and show a little
more respect.

If i go swimming in the ocean and get killed
by a shark, fine. Thats 100% ok with me,
my bad.

Well i love swimming at beaches. I would live near a beach if i could. No shark is going to stop me or it hasnt yet.
I dont have much to do with my Dads side of the family but they always moving and live in rich houses near the beach. I loved staying with them when I was a kid. My cousin was so spoiled. My Auntie, thats my Dads sister and his mum had a jaguar and a porshe and he had been all around the world and to disney land and I lived with my mum and three sisters in an old farm house and she got the rent free because she cooked meals for the shearers and then we moved into housing commission and we never had much toys or clothes. Never joined any clubs like girl guides and when we was little mum used to drink alot and there was alot of parties and mum would be crying and all her stupid bf alchoholic friends.
I just wish my Dad was still alive and wasnt a psycho and acted like everyone else in his family because my mum and dad was married and my mum said they could have been wealthy, like if they hadnt of moved every couple of months and he kept his job.
My mum says nothing about him except she hates him for leaving her on her own with three little girls.
Anyway, that is enough complaining.

and Paedophiles them are spiders. Big spiders except worse. When I have children in my care or looking after them. I panic. People think i get delusional but i dont. They are scary evil and yukky
My psychaitrist thinks i have delusions about paedophiles. They are more real and a threat than sharks or spiders. If you get labelled with a disorder they think every thing you say is insane.
Like my case manager goes and you talked to him about some of your delusions. It's not delusions. They dont know what they talking about. They act like smart asses and try and make out your an idiot.
