That people would take better care of their pets, so there wouldn't be so many homeless cats and dogs having short, unhappy lives. An outdoor or feral cat generally lives no more than three or four years, while a well cared for indoor cat can live 20 years or more.

Anything that reduces this unimagible mass of hatred, suffering, and injustice throughout the world is a good change to make IMO.

For all those in political/government/management/legal positions to use their power wisely.

no i was joking.
i was told to smile when i am joking so people would know, and i did smile when i posted that joke, so i guess the advice was wrong.

the reason i joked, is that my ideas of what to change about the world are insignificant among the other posters who are smarter than me so i do not try to be philosophical in an area where i am outclassed.
