Why did you pick your avatar?

I picked mine based off of one of my favourite Vladimir Kush paintings.

I've only had three avatars on WP so far, the first was some pink Manolo Blahnik shoes, because to me they symbolised New York City, my other favourite city after Rome. Then it was some cherries, just cos it looked pretty. And now it's the Colosseum. I try not to change em too often.

My avatar is Michael myers picking up a phone. And why? because I love horror movies and Michael is my favorite Slasher.

I chose mine because I wanted something humurous that is also something I agree with.

gina-ghettoprincess, I had recently changed to the avatar which you currently see, as I've always been a fan of early martial arts cinema and in that, the avatar represents not only a film but, a character from such film whom was honorable & sincere not, someone whom is malevolent or shady in terms of moral characteras such. Also, I've always had a habit of voice mimcry of characters from all sorts of films and tv shows..

Well I choose a photo of me which shows nothing of me, all you can see is a glove covering my hand. It is a picture of me and it is not a picture of me at the same time.

One day I might show more of my body, maybe even my face one day.

Diagnosed under the DSM5 rules with autism spectrum disorder, under DSM4 psychologist said would have been AS (299.80) but I suspect that I am somewhere between 299.80 and 299.00 (Autism) under DSM4.

My username is inspired by Magic: The Gathering (kudos to anyone who can tell how) and I wanted a picture of a pair of glasses. I like the comedy element too.

Because it reminds me of Animal Crossing and is my favourite character from the game.

Though I am 44 years old, I thought I would use a picture/avatar of me when I was about 10 years old. I remember when that picture was taken. Mom took that of me when I was standing next to wedding anniversary flowers Dad had gotten her.

Because I thought it was cleverly cute.

I like mystical, magical, mysterious things, and I love cats, so my avatar is a picture of Bast, the goddess of cats.

Mine is a Trinity Blood screenshot I took myself, of the character Caterina when she was younger. I chose it for multiple reasons:

1. The biggest reason is that I believe I would look spitting image of young!Caterina if I were in an anime; we have pretty much the same hairstyle and color. Though the hair's tinted blue in this picture, it's supposed to be dark blonde.

2. Her facial expression is empty, maybe even slightly worried or sad. That's how I appear to most people.

3. In the scene in which this still was taken from, young!Caterina is saved by Abel from rogue vampires. Abel looks down at her gently and outstretches his hand to hers as a sign of friendship. This is symbolic of how Abel "saved me" from some of my inner demons, by being my imaginary friend.
