I can remember some of mine
The first part i had me this girl, blond somewhat short hair and attractive.we were in a metro station and for what ever reason i was carrying her on my back (piggy back style) and when we got to doors or arches i would lean down to make sure she didnt hit her head, after three or four of them we came to another so i lean forward and and she does too,we make eye contact then she kisses me on the cheek.thats when i either woke up or the dream switched/shifted.

The other part was there was a little dock that barely floated,it was tied up on the the shore of a water side city/town similar to where i lived for a bit.I was on this dock with a friend and the girl from before,it was leaning to one side so we try toget off of it.the girl made it off first but me and my buddy slid off of it going for a little swim,he pointed out these little i guess they were plants of some kind they looked like a straw with a little kind of animal shaped head, they were very colorfull.he pointed out another kind of plant it was also like a straw but a little bigger but very dull looking, when threatened it had a vine covered in leaves came out of it to protect it.
There was another shift.i was then in a city bus and there was this dog,med to big in size long white some straight some curly fur,it reminded me of a big poodle and a collie in shape and fur length.I was petting the dog and it was licking my face so i inquire to whos dog it was,it was the bus drivers but he or she (i dont recall) had it because their friend couldnt take care of it anymore, and he/she was kind of stuck with it.I told the driver if they didnt really want her i could take care of it.As the driver agrees the dog spots something and takes off,it jumps off the front of the bus (there were no windows) lands and runs to the shore on a dock and starts eating either fish or some birds with some other little dog.I was running over got to them then i woke up.

That much.thinking about it(and rereading some of it)there was a lot of them and they seemed to be the focus of my attention to where i noticed more of the little details.

^^Im not sure, the one that does keep coming up is my being single and feeling alone and my dreams try to either make up for it or find answers or practice situations, perhaps all the above.

The weirdest was I dreamt I was performing brain surgery on my own head.

I was able to accomplish this with my detached head on a table and video screen goggles over my eyes. A video camera was mounted on my neck where my head used to be. Every thing the camera saw was transmitted to the video screen goggles so even though my head was detached on the table I recreated somewhat my normal point of view while I opened my own skullcap and probed my own brain matter.

Brain
To dream of your brain suggests that you are under severe intellectual stress. You need to put your problem-solving abilities to use. Alternatively, it implies that your ideas are not receiving enough attention and validation. You are concerned that your knowledge and teachings are not be transmitted clearly. To dream that you are undergoing brain surgery indicates that you need to rethink some important issue. You need to change your way of thinking and put aside any misconceived notions you have.
Lobotomy
To see or dream that you have a lobotomy or other brain surgery indicates that you are either trying to get to your subconscious and access its insights or you are trying to suppress it and erase it from your consciousness. Alternatively, the dream means that you are under tremendous mental stress.

I was under stress at the time from work and also having insomnia-like symptom that I think were triggered by medication.

I'm also Underemployed and not working in Information Technology that I studied in college. I keep trying to think of how to apply my skills to get income or gain the experience and credentials that employers demand.

I think this could also reflect my weird mix of spirituality and skepticism. Pondering if there is a soul or some deep inner true core of a person's being aside from the flesh and bone. I wonder if I desired to behold my own brain and wondered how all it's pieces fit together to result in the Gestalt Me. Or if pieces were stripped away one by one, at which point does myself as a person Die or disappear? Maybe the dream was a crude translation of self curiosity.

there are some who believe the human brain is something like a "dumb" data terminal that received commands/data from a master server or mainframe somewhere else. so if you stripped away large parts of your brain then you'd end up with something more akin to a wetware paperweight than a functioning data terminal. just a thought.

i dreamt i was relaxing in my tin can when a neighbor unexpectedly barged into my house without even knocking first, and i gently upbraided her for that, to which she paid no mind. she was dressed in dark red from head to toe, in gauzy fabric. then she went into my bedroom and got onto my bed, and i followed her into there. then all of a sudden, as i got onto my bed, this weird creature about the size of a beach ball but constructed just like a giant dandelion puff, materialized and started attacking me with a bunch of little spider bites. each "tine" of the puffball had a spider at the end of it, but it behaved just like one solid creature with one mind. i ran from it and it followed me down the hall, then i got a vacuum cleaner and tried to suck it up but it refused to be sucked up. then i found myself in the kitchen of my relation's house where their eldest daughter was talking to me about the reason a recently deceased celeb's image [whose expression changed each time i looked away then looked back up] was floating in the eastern sky above the house, but that reason didn't translate into anything logical when i awoke.

My dreams are very different than other people's dreams. Most of the time, I solve problems in my sleep, whether I am dreaming or not. Guess being able to design molecular structures in my dreams, waking up and sketching them out to see what they could be used for would be quite strange to some. I had a nightmare in grad school in solving a 100 by 100 matrix problem set for a particular crystal structure that I kept grinding away on night after night for a week until it solved itself in my sleep. I kept applying symmetry operations to the unit cell again and again, all the while visualizing the atomic positions within the cell as they changed. That was a real headache in itself.

:thumleft: the discoverer of the benzene molecule dreamt of a snake eating its tail. so it is a good thing that you are able to tap into your dreamland wisdom for waking problems :thumright:
