today during the lunch break at student elections i talked to my comrades and i realised i wasnt the only one who'd wanted to burn our countrys flag before. they talked about it like it was normal whereas i was always a bit hesitant saying stuff like that after the cronulla riots. it doesnt stand for anytthing good. i'd probably be lynched by white people in my area, especially back then. some of you are probably reading that in horror.

My friend/former supervisor from when I worked at WalMart a few years ago finally paid me for some non-WalMart projects I assisted him with last year. I helped him strip & wax the floors of a church/school/gym at some religious school thing. He was going through a bankruptcy at the time & couldn't pay me then(he borrowed a lot from me at different times that he finished paying off a month or so ago; he told me to add some for interest sometimes). I didn't mind helping because I missed working with him & had nothing else going on so we didn't worry about a price then. He paid me $300. I'm going to his wedding on the 29th to.

I also went out to eat for lunch at Popeyes fried chicken & I moped my grandma's floor today & my grandpa gave me $5 for it.

When I was picking the money up in envelope in my desk drawer(I don't keep a lot in my wallet) I realized I had $20 more than the $60 I thought I had in there.

Also Megz is having a great day so that makes mine even better.

I went to the Thanksgiving Dinner at my clubhouse today. It was a real morality booster. I walked in an emotional mess and I walked out feeling like a Kinks Fan again. :)

Soooo much stuff again. I'm having the best week ever! :D
My best friend texted me this morning just to see how I was doing. Apparently she knows about the meetup plans with Nick. (My mother is such a gossip  ) I miss talking to her all the time like we used to, but we're both busy at separate colleges now, so it makes things difficult. But anyways, she brightened my morning :)
I went to a presentation/Q&A session by Joel Burns. I'd never heard of him before, but that's probably cause A) I don't live in Ft. Worth, and B) I don't have tv. Apparently he's a pretty big deal in the whole "It Gets Better" campaign. It was really inspiring.
At this presentation/conference thing, I ran into two of my best friends that I hadn't seen in 6 weeks cause we're just so busy with school stuff. So we ate lunch together in the courtyard area, and listened to music by the Operant Lab Band. One of the guys in the band was my instructor for my favorite class last semester: Weird Behavior. I really like him and his teaching style and I hope I get to work with him more in the future.
After that I just hung out with one of my friends I saw at the conference thing and we just talked and watched tv and took a nap lol
Went home, checked facebook, and saw that one of my other friends was looking for someone to hang out with, so I went and picked her up, and we went to eat at our favorite restaurant with another friend.
Then I went to her anime club meeting, and it was freaking aspie central up in there lol. I'd say a strong majority of the people there had very strong obvious aspie traits. (I know, I know, I should quit diagnosing people in my head, but it was really really obvious here) I really liked being around other people who act like I act when I'm not trying to act NT. I like observing aspie social interactions. It makes me feel normal. That meeting made me wish I liked anime, cause I'd probably make some friends there. Not that I really need any more friends, I barely have time to keep up with all the friends I have now.
After that we went to walmart to buy snacks for the movie theater. I got Mike & Ike's, Dots, and Star-bursts, but I only ate the Mike & Ike's so I still have the others for later :D
We went to see 50/50, which was a really good movie. It was a good balance of funny and dramatic.
The car ride back to campus was really nice. We had the windows down, wind blowing through our hair, listening to some good music. I feel really peaceful and happy. It's nice.
